Honest Neils First Blog Post - Swagbucks Website and Apps Review

Hello and welcome to Honest Neil's blog, today is my first ever blog post!

I'm originally Southampton born and bred and now live in the Midlands in England UK, still support the Saints, like gaming, mainly mobile and PS4 with Destiny taking plenty of free time!  Love a round of golf, travelling is a real passion of mine especially heading to any sandy beach for a swim & surf anywhere in the world and really like my latest tech and gadgets.  

Lately the 9-5 working grind has me feeling there must be more to life, so I've been thinking about new ideas away from the norm, maybe a franchise business, perhaps selling on ebay/amazon, investing in property or maybe building a you tube or twitch channel...just something different!

Anyhow chatting with a buddy at the pub, he said i should check out a few websites and apps to make a little money on the side, over the last month I've tried a few and wanted to write up an honest reviews of my experiences as there is a huge amount of noise around such subjects, so my first step is starting a blog and a first review starting with:


What a great site to start with, having never used such a site before, this is a really professional high quality site, everything just works consistently and I've never felt cheated by the system. 

You can earn money and rewards by completing activities, some are pretty passive just open an app and watch videos but for quicker rewards you can installs some apps, complete surveys, buy from other websites to earn cashback and swagbucks plus sign up for other websites such as gambling and bingo for some really big points.

To start with I registered on the website which was painless enough and soon I was quite religiously completing daily activities on the to do list, completing surveys can be a little frustrating, just as you make progress for registering basic details you get a sorry we already have enough participants rejection, but you still get the 1 swagbuck and if successful anywhere from 25 to 100 in reward.  

It wasn't long until I started installing some further apps on android (Samsung Galaxy S7) and quickly got hooked, especially as when you have some spare time you can run some music videos, news from all over the world or some movie trailers which automatically play on your mobile earning a few bucks every half dozen videos. 

There are a number of other apps which I will get around to trying however the only other item i installed was a toolbar chrome extension which allowed for even more bucks to be earned through searching and occasional a code would pop up for a quick 5-10 bucks each day.

You also get an inbox which receives random promotional offers, some of which were for 10k swagbucks, something in the £60 region but this was for signing up and spending £10 at a gambling website, seems a great idea if you are in to online gambling but a risk i'm trying to avoid at the moment even though it seems a bit of a no brainer if you are old enough!

While I don't think this site will allow me to quit the 9-5, within a week I have managed to collect enough swagbucks for a £5 amazon gift card and getting close to a £10 pay pal payout which is the goal I'm after for now and I'm assured a swift and reliable turnaround for receiving payouts.


Rewards include Pay Pal, Amazon, Steam, Marks and Spencer, Starbucks, New Look, Argos, iTunes, John Lewis, Tk Maxx, facebook games card and giving money to multiple really well established charities including unicef, save the children and many more.



Honest Neil's Review :  9/10
All things considered, this seems a really well established website with reliable apps on android and a significant choice for rewards.  If you would rather do a survey and watch a video for swagbucks instead of non stop browsing social media facebook, twitter, youtube, instagram etc, then you'll quickly rack the points up for a nice reward.

Pro: Excellent website and applications, huge varied rewards, reliable payout
Con: Chrome extension uses huge bandwidth, high survey drop out rate
